Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel offers a nice size room with great amenities, but unfortunately, some rooms have horrible views. While it's a non-smoking room or level, the view may not be ideal for everyone.
The hotel is conveniently located near a mall, clinic, pharmacy, and other amenities. However, there was a mix-up with room bookings leading to unavailability of rooms. Not well-ventilated, especially for smoking rooms.
The hotel's rooms were comfortable, but be sure to have a window in every room. The service was courteous and professional, with helpful staff. The location was perfect for exploring Manila's landmarks and shopping areas. The dining options were varied, but with some inconsistency. Facilities were adequate for a pleasant stay.
Staying at City Garden Suites was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered complimentary upgrades to deluxe rooms. The service was consistently polite and courteous, although cash payment was required. The hotel's location was convenient, being near Robinson's mall, LRT station, and the Manila Doctors Hospital. Dining was a highlight during the stay, providing the best culinary experience.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms in their new building, like the junior suite I stayed in, were very clean and neat. The space was nice and spacious, making my stay truly comfortable. The service was top-notch, especially the accommodating housekeeping staff. The hotel's location was just perfect for me, being next to Saint Luke's Extension clinic and close to Robinson Place and plenty of eateries. The dining experience was great, with very good food and a location so close to Luneta Rizal Park and the baywalk Dolomite beach. The facilities were impressive too.
The hotel had a basic room that served its purpose well and included all necessary amenities, but there were issues with noise from laundry services and waiting times at breakfast. The service was friendly and accommodating, offering various conveniences like room service and laundry. The location was great, near shopping areas and major streets in the Ermita district, but it was a bit noisy due to its surroundings. The dining experience was mixed, with delays in refills but delicious food options available. The facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
My 16-day stay in the heart of Ermita district was quite a mixed experience. The rooms, though simple and of nice size, had all I needed but were unfortunately affected by smoke and chaos from the staff. On the positive side, the hotel's location was ideal for exploring Manila's major attractions, but being in the red district could be overwhelming at times.
I wish I had booked more than two nights at this hotel. The rooms, though not exactly as depicted in the pictures, exceeded our expectations; they were clean, modernized, and had a very nice ambiance. The service, from my niece's perspective, was commendable; the staff was friendly, courteous, accommodating, and always willing to help with a smile. The location suited my needs in most ways, despite the Manila traffic and pollution; it is conveniently situated at City Garden Suites, offering not just staycations but fun packages like day trips. The dining experience was delightful, especially with the outstanding buffet and early breakfast starting at 6 am. The facilities were top-notch, contributing to a pleasant stay overall.
The hotel is conveniently located near Rizal Park and Intramuros, with a generous breakfast buffet. The rooms are of good value for money, although a bit small. The service was friendly and helpful, especially during the MECQ period. The dining experience was heavy and nutritious, but some issues were noted with saltiness. The location suffers from heavy traffic but remains bright and welcoming.
